In addition to our standard programs we can immerse ourselves in your specific assembly technologies and processes and develop training programs for your in house staff, new employees and new contract manufacturers or company locations.

Our Engineers' are professionally experience in advancing medical device start ups and large electronics manufacturers alike. We have supported new materials and new processes as they have transferred to contract manufacturers and expanded to satellite manufacturing facilities in other states and countries and we continue to provide refresher courses to our long time customers. Presentation format and content are shaped and refined by our clients. In advance of your training session COG Will provide an outline of our presentation for your review and our modification. The training forum may include Power Point presentation, demonstration, equipment demonstration and personnel training documentation.
Success Stories
COG Engineering worked closely with EMI UV and various equipment experts to develop a new manufacturing process for a global leader of electronics component manufacturing in Southern California. As production grew and expanded into facilities around the world and as company personnel changed, there arose a need to provide on site review and training for the technologies we implemented and to evaluate other technologies that would enhance their production methods. COG Engineering helped engineering management in Tijuana and Costa Rica to identify areas of concern and limitation. Following a month of evaluation of various suppliers of automated dispensing technologies and surface modification, we returned to Costa Rica along with EMI UV's Senior Chemist for two days to review our findings and refresh all engineering personnel regarding the existing processes. In addition to presenting our review and new findings to the group of engineers from the US, Mexico, Taiwan, and Germany, we continued our training and technology review with a smaller group of engineers who were directly responsible for production support and advancement, ultimately allowing them to reduce failure rates and implement new technologies after we were gone.
