Adhesives: bonding, form in place, strain releif
Adhesives come in a nearly infinite number of chemistries and properties. COG Engineering and our polymer manufacturers help you choose the right materials. Our products are used in bonding medical devices, electronics, plastic housings, laminates, composites, metals, plastics and more. Adhesive selection is critical to your success. We will help you consider viscosity, substrates, adhesion, hardness, flexibility, thixotropy, Tg and other critical material properties. -
Coatings, pcb, catheter, laminates
We offer a wide variety of coatings utilized in vastly different applications. Our coatings are used to protect electronic components, provide scratch resistance, increase strength, improve lubricity, block moisture, and conduct or resist heat. Coatings can be applied by spraying, roll coating, slot die coating, brushed, vapor vacuum deposition or dipping. Material selection, adhesion, processing and testing are our specialty. As your supplier and applications specialists your production will be well supported for years to come. -
Potting materials, wireless devices, waterproofing
Our manufacturers formulate performance potting compounds and encapsulants that are poured into devices or molds to protect electronic, photonic, electrical and mechanical components. Potting Compounds insulate, protect, and secure components in place while providing high dimensional stability and optimum dielectric properties.
Potting Compounds are single, two-component or UV systems that harden at room temperature or use heat to accelerate or complete the curing process. -
Tooling & Fixtures, uv curing, catheter assembly
Critical assembly operations require precise control. In 15 years of device design and manufacturing we have defined simple but repeatable means of stabilizing and improving throughput through the use of benchtop fixtures, nests and UV enclosures. COG Engineering offers standard products and custom solutions for your bonding, coating, potting and curing processes.
